New York-Presbyterian Hospital (NYPH), White Plains, New York, USA - 1 Postdoctoral Fellowships in Child Psychology

The Department of Psychiatry at New York-Presbyterian Hospital (NYPH) Westchester Division in White Plains, New York is accepting applications for two-year postdoctoral clinical psychology fellowship positions in the Child Outpatient Division. Affiliated with Weill Cornell Medical College, NYPH offers training in the scientist/clinician model for psychologists who are interested in becoming academic leaders. The fellowship provides training in the evaluation and treatment of children, adolescents, and their families. Innovative and evidence-based approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), transference focused psychotherapy (TFP), family systems treatment, and group therapy. Training is based on an apprenticeship model in which the fellows work closely with clinical and research faculty mentors.

Requirements: Applicants must have a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program, evidence potential to participate in collaborative research, and be able to submit materials required to obtain the limited permit issued by the New York State Department of Education before their start date.
