The School of Nursing is accredited by the Council on Collegiate Nursing Education and the college's music program is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music. The McMinnville campus includes 50 buildings on some 193 acres. The Portland campus, which houses the School of Nursing, the health sciences program, and a continuing education center, occupies half a city block and includes two buildings. Special features of the college include study abroad programs in ten countries; a one month January Term for intensive study; an outpost in the Cascade mountains for wilderness trips and skiing; and internships and student research opportunities in a variety of disciplines.
