The VA Northern California Health Care System (VANCHCS) is now recruiting to fill 1 clinical neuropsychology postdoctoral resident position. This two-year, APA accredited, full-time residency training program provides advanced training in the practice of clinical neuropsychology with a dual emphasis on neuropsychological assessment and neurocognitive rehabilitation. The resident can spend up to 25% time in research endeavors or choose additional clinical specialization rotations. All residents are expected to participate in research and can work on a wide variety of preexisting databases/on-going projects with neuropsychological and cognitive neuroscience research groups at VANCHCS as well as UC Davis Medical Center and UC Berkeley Helen Wills Neuroscience Institute, or can potentially initiate their own mentored research. Salary will be $50,006 during year one and increase to $52,709 for year two, with benefits. Applicants must be U.S. Citizens who are candidates in (or have completed) an APA-accredited doctoral program in clinical/counseling psychology and are enrolled in or have completed an APA-accredited internship. All requirements for the Ph.D. or Psy.D. must be completed prior to the start of the residency on September 1, 2012. Applications must be postmarked by January 9, 2012 and must include a letter of intent, curriculum vitae, three letters of recommendation, certifying letter from the Graduate Program Training Director, transcripts from undergraduate and graduate programs attended, and two sample neuropsychological reports.
