POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP IN COLLEGE MENTAL HEALTH: Offered by the University Counseling Center at the University of Rochester. Ten month position with possibility of extension to twelve months beginning August 2011 (start date negotiable). Emphasis on brief psychodynamic psychotherapy and year-long group therapy with highly motivated students drawn from under- and graduate populations including the School of Medicine, the Simon School of Business, and the Eastman School of Music. Intensive supervision and weekly seminars provided by diverse clinical faculty. Training responsibilities include the provision of consultative services to campus agencies, supervision of psychology practicum students, and teaching a graduate seminar in advanced clinical issues. Special emphasis given to training in administrative responsibilities.
Applicants must have completed all requirements for their doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology including their dissertation and an APA-accredited internship.
