Liberty Healthcare at the Illinois Department of Human Services Treatment and Detention Facility, location in Rushville, Illinois, is offering three (3) full-time, one-year Post Doctoral Fellowship positions in the Forensic Psychology Training Program. The selected candidates will have the opportunity to participate in intensive sex offender-specific group therapy with an experienced co-therapist. During this treatment-intensive training, the Fellow will function as a member of a multidisciplinary team providing 15 hrs of group treatment per week; psychological testing & report writing; treatment planning; and, individual treatment. The Fellow will provide weekly supervision and mentoring for a Predoctoral Intern.
The Fellow will participate in weekly training provided in multiple formats including: case conferencing, multidisciplinary treatment plan staffing, staff trainings and didactic seminars. Two licensed clinical psychologists will provide weekly supervision for the Fellow. There is the opportunity to participate in research at our facility for the interested candidate.

Stipend: $40,000 plus benefits
Minimum Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in a related field, with all requirements completed no later than Sept 1/12, (Forensic course work considered a plus)
- Successful Completion of Predoctoral Internship
- Previous experience working with sex offenders, and/or working in a secure/correctional facility.

This should be an assessment report of an adult addressing: background information, behavioral observations, results of a full battery of psychological tests, diagnostic formulation and treatment recommendations. Projective Testing using the Rorschach should be evidenced clearly in the report.

Closing date for Application: Applicants are required to provide completed submission by January 30th, 2012. Candidate notification of status by February 7th, 2012. Preliminary telephone interviews are planned and on-site interview will be schedule for Friday February 17th, 24th or March 2nd.
