The Neuropsychology Program at Indiana University School of Medicine anticipates 1 opening for a 2-year fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology consistent with APA Div. 40 and Houston Conference guidelines for 2012-2014. The program goal is to provide advanced professional training in an academic environment. Responsibilities include clinical assessment and consultation for children and adolescents with a wide range of medical and neurodevelopmental diagnoses. Programmatic emphases include clinical and research collaborations in the areas of oncology, epilepsy, and traumatic brain injury. Research opportunities available include structural and functional neuroimaging studies in pediatric populations via the IU Center for Neuroimaging. Didactic opportunities include Neurology, Pediatric Neurology, and Psychiatry Grand Rounds, brain cuttings, observation of neurosurgery, and neuropsychology seminars. Requirements include prior neuroscience course work, internship training in neuropsychology, and completion of all doctoral requirements.
Interviews will be conducted at INS in Montreal, and the program will participate in the APPCN match.
