VA Puget Sound Health Care System, Seattle,WA, USA - 1 Fellowship position in Neurocognitive Disorders

Please see the original posting below for a 1-year Fellowship position in Neurocognitive Disorders at the VA Puget Sound Health Care System in Seattle. I encourage early submission of applications so that phone interviews or in-person interviews at INS can be scheduled. Kathleen Pagulayan and I are the co-supervisors for this unique training position. It is a mostly clinical position with a 50% focus on neurodegenerative disease and 50% mTBI/Rehabilitation. Bridging the gap of these two areas are Memory Skills training groups. While not a main focus of the fellowship, research opportunities abound (VA and University of Washington affiliations) and there is an ongoing clinical demonstration project with potential for program development, dissemination, and publication.

We have found that an ideal trainee is someone who has a strong Neuropsychology background who is looking to round out their CV with specific training in these areas -- perhaps because there wasn't an opportunity during internship/graduate work - or alternatively, a good-fit applicant might be someone who is looking to acquire neuropsychology experience with Veterans. I would be more than happy to answer any questions about the Fellowship - front or back channel. My VA email is emily.trittschuh@va.gov. Work phone: 206-277-6283 Please pass this on to anyone who may be interested. Sincerely, Emily Trittschuh, PhD
