Post-Doctoral Fellowship Opportunity in Autism Spectrum Disorders Los Angeles County

The Help Group's post-doctoral Fellowship focusing on Autism Spectrum Disorders provides fellows an opportunity to obtain advanced clinical training and experience in intervention (individual, family, and group therapy) and assessment of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. In addition, fellows will develop skills in supervision, public speaking, consultation, and program development and evaluation related to working specifically with children and adolescents diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. The Help Group is one of the largest providers of school-based and outpatient services for children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder in the U.S., assessing and treating children and adolescents from pre-school through young adulthood. Stipend: $30,000.00 with an additional $2500.00 for fully bilingual Spanish speaking fellows.

The training year is a full calendar year that typically begins the 3rd week of August (slight adjustments can be made based on the fellow’s schedule of ending internship). Fellows will receive 2,000 hours of Supervised Professional Experience, including at least 4 hours per week of supervision. Application includes the following: Cover letter, CV, work sample related to assessing or treating children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, 3 letters of recommendation (one of which must come from your internship program - either the primary supervisor or internship director).
