Postdoctoral Clinical Research Opportunity in Traumatic Stress, Loss, and Early Intervention Description: The Boston VA Research Institute (BVARI) at the Boston VA Healthcare System is offering a postdoctoral research position under the direction of Brett Litz, Ph.D. Dr. Litz’s lab is very active and the position would entail involvement in many studies and initiatives related to the prevention of PTSD in military settings, predictors of risk and resilience, telehealth approaches to treatment, and the prevention of pathological grieving. Responsibilities will include involvement in project management, grant writing and administration, data analysis, and manuscript preparation. For clinical psychology Ph.D.s, clinical hours and supervision for licensure are available. Salary is highly competitive and benefits are available.

Requirements: Doctoral degree in clinical psychology is preferred. Graduate degrees in related disciplines with relevant experience will also be considered. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are necessary. A demonstrated interest in the study of military trauma, PTSD, grief, longitudinal data analysis, clinical trials, and early intervention is preferred. Anticipated start: As soon as the position can be filled. Duration: Two years, with possibility of extension.
