Opening in Athens, Georgia for a postdoctoral fellowship to begin August or September, 2012 in a thriving private practice. Job duties include psychological testing, clinical interviewing, and report writing. Post-docs will receive valuable training in a wide variety of assessment procedures with a diverse population (adult and pediatric).
Requirements include completion of all assessment coursework, solid background in testing and report writing, ability to work independently, and ability to quickly learn and integrate new tests into your repertoire.
We are seeking one postdoctoral fellow for specialty training in neuropsychological assessment, which would comprise approximately 30-40% of the fellowship. Referral questions may include cognitive status subsequent to head injury, stroke, cancer treatment, genetic conditions, and other CNS insults or degenerative diseases. Referrals come from various sources including neurologists, primary care providers, Department of Labor, and the Department of Family and Children's services.
Supervision is available and post-doc will satisfy Georgia licensure requirements. Pay is competitive and schedule is flexible based on the needs of the postdoctoral fellow. Athens is just a 45 minute drive from Atlanta and is home to the University of Georgia.
