Community Head Injury Resource Services of Toronto (CHIRS), Toronto, Ontario, Canada - 1 Postdoctoral position (clinical neuropsychology)

Community Head Injury Resource Services of Toronto (CHIRS) is the leading provider of community-based supports for people living with the effects of acquired brain injury in Ontario. Known nationally for its innovative, support services, CHIRS provides outpatient, residential, outreach recreational and vocational services.

CHIRS is offering a two year clinical fellowship designed to meet the requirements of supervision for ABPP/ABCN Diplomate candidacy. The main focus of the fellowship is the development of expertise in assessment and treatment of individuals living with moderate to severe brain injury. In addition to completing neuropsychological assessments, the fellow provides clinical leadership in residential, outreach and vocational settings. Attendance at hospital-based clinical and research rounds and professional training programs is required. Opportunities for research and rotations in pediatrics, inpatient rehabilitation and geriatrics may be arranged for interested individuals.
