Post-Doctoral Fellowship(s) in Las Vegas, Nevada: Private Practice Setting
A private clinic is currently taking an application for post-doctoral
positions. Primary areas of focus are: psychological assessments,
neuropsychological assessments, individual therapy and family therapy for
children and family in foster care.
Qualifying experience will include comprehensive training and experience in
assessment and solid clinical skills targeted especially for children and
youth and/or at-risk population.
Post-doctoral fellows will gain a wide variety of experience in a private
practice setting, including assessment skills, clinical skills, and most
importantly professional development and understanding of psychology from
the business perspective.
Supervision: One formal hour of individual supervision with a licensed
psychologist. Three hours of group supervision per month. Specialized
training in ethics and areas of interest will be available throughout the
year.
Potential applicant should have excellent report writing skills and be
prepared for an intensive and rewarding experience. Doctoral degree must
be posted prior to the starting date. Fellows will average 48 to 50 hours
of work per week.
Annual compensation $35,000 - $40,000 with one-week paid vacation. Health
insurance is offered. Start date to be sometime from July through
