Westchester Institute for Human Development, a University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities and Related Disorders located in Valhalla, New York (30 min north of New York City) is currently seeking applicants for its Pre-Doctoral Internships and; Post-Doctoral Fellowships in Child/Pediatric Psychology with Underserved Populations (Developmental Disabilities and Child Welfare)
Unique opportunity for training in:
  • assessment /intervention with children in foster care and their families
  • early childhood disabilities, autism, and behavioral interventions
  • school and community consultation
  • grant-funded specialty programs
  • 9-mo federally funded Leadership

Training in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities featuring:
  • developmental disabilities training from a multi-disciplinary perspective (clinical, family-centered care, cultural competence, public health, policy and advocacy, and evidence-based)
  • participation in team projects and research groups
  • attendance at local/national conferences
  • opportunities to develop presentation, grant-writing, & legislative advocacy skills
