Description: Postdoctoral Psychology Fellowship in Psychodynamic Clinical Psychology at the Derner Institute for Advanced Psychological Studies, Adelphi University
This is a half-time, two year position for postdoctoral psychologists which will provide the experience required for licensure in New York Sate for licensure in Psychology.
The position will include: Opportunity to teach two classes per semester in the Undergraduate or Masters level psychology departments, clinical experience seeing patients and receiving clinical supervision, advanced training in psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic psychotherapy.
We are seeking postdoctoral psychologists with experience and interest in psychodynamic clinical psychology who are working towards licensure in New York State.

The Derner Institute for Advanced Psychological Studies at Adelphi University is comprised of undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate level programs in psychoanalytically oriented clinical psychology. The Postgraduate Programs in Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy offers certificate programs in psychoanalysis, psychodynamic psychotherapy, child, adolescent and family therapy, couple therapy, and group therapy. The programs contain the Postgraduate Psychotherapy Center which is the clinical arm of the training programs and provides a full array of clinical services to the Long Island and New York City communities.
