Two positions are available for junior faculty or post doctoral fellows to participate in clinical and research activities in Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Behavioral Medicine. Current research includes dietary, exercise and weight management interventions in hypertension, coping skills training in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and heart failure, exercise and depression in cardiac patients, neurocognitive outcomes and quality of life after cardiac surgery, exercise adherence, diet and exercise interventions in patients with mild cognitive impairment, and biobehavioral mechanisms of heart failure and hypertension.
