WTC medical Monitoring And Treatment Program, New York, NY, USA - 1 Clinical postdoctoral position

Applications are invited for a 12-month Postdoctoral Clinical Fellowship in Clinical Psychology at the NYU/Bellevue WTC Medical Monitoring and Treatment Program (www.wtcexams.org), within the NYU Langone Medical Center, School of Medicine and Hospitals Center, Sackler Institute of Graduate Biomedical Sciences, in New York, NY, beginning July 1st, 2011. This fellowship is designed to prepare the post-doctoral level trainee to assume the professional responsibilities of a clinical psychologist with specialized training in the assessment and treatment of posttraumatic reactions in first responders. The Fellowship has a standard salary of $38,000 per year in addition to health care insurance and benefits. Opportunities also exist for academic writing, collaborating with clinical researchers, and grant application for continued funding. Applicants with research experience in qualitative as well as quantitative methods are encouraged to apply.

Applicants must have fulfilled requirements for a Ph.D. in counseling or clinical psychology. Applications will be accepted through June 15th 2011.
