Eureka CBOC Psychologist
Satellite Clinic of the San Francisco VA Medical Center
Duties: The incumbent will serve in the Eureka Community Based Outpatient Clinic, a satellite clinic of the San Francisco VA Medical Center. Duties include, but are not limited to: conducting intake evaluations of new referrals, conducting psychological and neuropsychological assessments, providing individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy and psychoeducation groups for posttraumatic stress disorder, substance use disorders, anger management, depression, chronic mental illness and psychiatric illness co-occurring with medical illnesses, and integrated care. The incumbent will provide lectures at mental health seminars and consult to staff from other clinics to assist in their formulation of appropriate treatment interventions.
The incumbent may serve on SFVAMC Mental Health Service, Eureka CBOC, VISN, and/or National VA committees or task forces. The incumbent may be asked to serve as the MH Program Leader at Eureka CBOC.
Salary range, depending on prior experience, is $57,408-$106,369. Eureka is in Humbolt County (home of the world's tallest trees) along the Northern California Coast. Contact russell.lemle@va.gov for more information.
