Dartmouth Medical School, 1 Pediatric Neuropsychology Post-Doctoral Fellowship

The pediatric neuropsychology post-doctoral fellowship program at Dartmouth Medical School involves numerous activities designed to provide a well-rounded learning experience. In addition to the clinical outpatient service that evaluates children with neurological, metabolic, developmental and learning problems, we participate in 2 multi-disciplinary clinics with developmental pediatrics: an Autism and Communications Disorders clinic evaluating children ages 2 to 5 years old, and a Neurodevelopmental - Psychiatric - Neuropsychology Clinic for children and adolescents ages 6 and up. We consult to 20 schools' concussion management programs and see a number of sports related TBI cases. Participation in intracarotid sodium amobarbital (WADA) procedures and epilepsy surgery planning conferences is also available. Rotation at New Hampshire’s state psychiatric facility provides neuropsychological testing experience within an inpatient psychiatric population.

Research opportunities include neuroimaging, TBI, and learning disabilities studies. Some school consultation opportunities are also available. The fellow will learn a wide variety of tests and service modalities as well as participate in weekly didactic training seminars with a focus on ABPP preparation. Applicants need course work and internship consistent with the Houston guidelines. This placement is accredited by APPCN and participates in the APPCN Match.
