Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine, The Center for Psychosocial Research in Gastroenterology, Chicago, IL, USA - 1 postdoctoral position (clinical health psychology)

The Center for Psychosocial Research in Gastroenterology is pleased to announce a 1-2 year postdoctoral position in clinical health psychology available immediately within Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine. The post-doctoral position is supported by an NIH-funded project that focuses on outcomes produced by cognitive-behavior therapy (CBT) for patients with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). The position involves assessment and treatment of IBS patients across 3 treatment arms and some data management/ administrative tasks. Extensive training and clinical supervision in CBT and gastrointestinal psychology are provided. Interested applicants with a PhD or PsyD from an APA-accredited, doctoral training program in clinical, counseling or health psychology are encouraged to apply. Individuals who are ABD will be considered in exceptional circumstances.
