Our Children’s House at Baylor (OCH), Dallas, Texas, USA - 1 Postdoctoral Fellow in Pediatric Neuropsychology

Our Children’s House at Baylor (OCH), Dallas, Texas, invites applicants for a postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology. The fellow would have the opportunity to work with children in a pediatric specialty hospital. This 35-bed facility admits children and adolescents (birth to 18) into one of several programs including acute rehabilitation (head injury, spinal cord injury, tumors, strokes, etc), sub-acute (coma monitoring and training of parents), ventilator care, palliative care, and feeding disorders. The fellow would work as part of an interdisciplinary team both with inpatients and outpatients. Inpatient responsibilities would include assessment and development of treatment plans, cognitive rehabilitation, monitoring of coma status, parent education and support. On the outpatient side, the fellow would administer comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations and be part of the Cognitive Day Neuro Rehabilitation Program. A familiarity in developmental psychology is encouraged. Research opportunities would also be available.
