One or possibly two pediatric psychology postdoctoral fellowships have become available at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital beginning in fall 2011. Participation in a variety of leadership opportunities are available, including in our diabetes consultation program, inpatient rehabilitation program, our Weigh Smart obesity program and our outpatient psychotherapy and testing clinics. The postdoctoral fellow in these positions will be expected to provide direct service to children, adolescents and their families, participate in program development in these areas, and participate in supervision with psychology trainees from area graduate programs. Collaboration with our multidisciplinary treatment teams is an essential component of both of these fellowships. Although the positions are primarily clinical, there are opportunities to participate in research.
The position is one year in duration, with supervision provided by faculty. Benefits include a competitive postdoctoral salary, health/dental/vision/life insurance, free parking, separate funds for conferences, and 4-5 weeks of sick/vacation time.
Preference will be given to candidates who have completed their doctoral degree, have completed training in child/pediatric psychology, and have an interest in a career working with children, adolescents and families.
Interested candidates should submit a cover letter, CV, and the names of three references by email, fax or mail to
